Our DETOXIFY Dreadlock Soak deeply cleanses dreadlocks, removing build up and trapped dirt.
 
We recommend doing a deep clean soak 2-3 times a year.  Even if you shampoo regularly dirt can still get trapped inside your locks.  Soaking your dreadlocks allows dirt to come out easier leaving you lighter and helps to dissolve oil and dandruff build up that may be trapped inside your dreadlocks. 
 
Bicarb soda deodorises musty smelling dreadlocks and deeply cleans, citric acid balances the pH, kills mould and mildew and is also effective at removing soap scum and other build up from hard water.
 
The addition of lemon scented tea tree essential oil has antiseptic and anti-fungal properties and paired with lime essential oil leaves you smelling super fresh.
 
Epsom salt, being pure magnesium, assists in maintaining a healthy scalp and relieves itching.  It also adds volume and definition to hair.
 
Pink himalayan salt contains 84 trace minerals and assists in tightening your dreadlocks.
 
Our deep cleansing soak is pH balanced.

You will need a basin or tub to soak your dreadlocks in.  We recommend buying a basin shaped bucket which you can get for a few dollars at most department stores.
